En este caso, podr\u00edamos conectar una pieza de magnesio o de aluminio (dos metales que se corroen f\u00e1cilmente) al tanque de acero del calentador. Estos metales tambi\u00e9n se conocen como \u201c\u00e1nodos galv\u00e1nicos\u201d. El \u00e1nodo galv\u00e1nico se corroer\u00e1 primero, protegiendo as\u00ed el tanque del calentador contra la oxidaci\u00f3n.
